MFM FC continue their resurgence under interim coach Olalekan Gabriel with a 1-0 win over Nasarawa United on Monday.
Since the appointment of the young the tactician, the Olukoya Boys have picked seven points from a possible twelve, including back to back home wins for the first time in two months.
The match was well contested as both side battled to get hold of the midfield in the early exchanges.
However, clear cut chances was difficult to come by in the first 45 minutes, but the home side got the break through nine minutes into the second half.
MFM FC Captain Elijah Akanni became the hero when he scored the only goal of the game with a beautiful finish in the 54th minute.
MFM FC held on for the points despite late pressure from the Solid Miners who have now failed to pick a point from their past three matches on the road.
The victory was MFM’s fifth league win over Nasarawa United in seven meetings (W5 D1 L1).
