Emmanuel Dennis was on parade for Club Brugge in their Wednesday’s UEFA Champions league meeting with Real Madrid at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Okereke who scored twice in the first meeting at the Santiago Bernarbaue was impressive once more in front of their home crowd.
Although Real Madrid ran away with a 3-1 victory, Dennis shown like a million star in the attack of the Phillipe Clement’s side.
Zidane’s men took the lead through Brazilian forward Rodrygo in the 53rd minute, Club Brugge equalised two minutes later with Dennis setting up Hans Vanaken for the goal.
The visitors later scored two goals in the second half through Vinicius Junior and Luca Modric to win the game.
Dennis’ international teammate, David Okereke was left on the bench for the entire duration.
Brugge however did enough to remain in Europe as they pipped Galatasary to the UEFA Europa League tickets after finishing third in the group behind PSG and Real Madrid.
