Enyimba FC team secretary Chibuzo Nwogu has stated that the People’s Elephants are still awaiting official communication from the Confederation of Africa Football following the removal of the team’s name from the list of qualifed teams and in their place had Al-ittihad of Libya as the team that will be in the pot of draws for the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup.
Nwogu speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the People’s Elephants are hoping that CAF will revisit and communicate officially to the club’s the decisions taken on the issue on ground with regards to their status and that of Libyan side Al-itihad.
