Enyimba boss Fatai Osho commends his players after Pirates win

Enyimba head coach Fatai Osho praised the winning mentality of his players after the Confederation Cup win against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.

Osho watched his side labored to a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in the final Group A game of the CAF Confederation Cup on Wednesday.

The Peoples Elephant dominated the game on the night, they completed 496 passes, had 20 shots, and also 66% ball possession.

The two-time African champions were starring at elimination before Cyril Olisema scored the winning goal deep into stoppage time.

Speaking with the media, Osho said he’s proud of his players’ never say die attitude during the game and wants to enjoy the victory with them.

“We are so happy about the result. It was not easy looking at the quality of Orlando Pirates. They did very well, and we had to work extra hard to get that result,” Osho told the media after the game.

“I will give a lot of commendation to the players for their resilience that they could get it done. So, we want to celebrate this moment and we will start looking at the knockout stage,” he said.
