Dakkada midfielder Christian Ekong has completed his transfer from the club to Enyimba International of Aba.
The deal was reportedly completed last Friday and the player put pen to paper for a 2-year-deal with the club.
Ekong has been on the radar of the CAF Confederation Cup campaigners for quite some time following his impressive display for Dakkada.
The energetic midfielder reportedly attracted interest from Rivers United and Rangers International but decided to sign for the Aba Elephants after holding discussions with Head Coach Fatai Osho.
Another reason he shunned advances from other clubs in favor of the switch to the Aba giants is the opportunity to play on the continent and also possibly win a trophy.
His addition will provide coach Fatai Osho with more options in the midfield as the team go into the all-important second half of the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league campaign.
