Enyimba dowsed pressure with Abia derby win – Mbaoma

Returning Enyimba forward Victor Mbaoma has stated that the People’s Elephant have dowsed pressure following Tuesday’s 1-0 Abia derby win over neighbors Abia warriors coming less than a week after losing 3-0 to Sudanese side Al-Merreikh in the CAF champions league.

Mbaoma who missed out on the continental clash against the Sudanese side last week due to injury returned and replaced goal scorer Samad Kadiri in the game yesterday.
He stressed after the game at the Enyimba Stadium in a chat with brila.net that the win has dowsed pressure on the People’s Elephant who can now become more hopeful for the best.
“I’m very happy that I am back on the field of play, it means a lot to me and I just hope as time goes by I will have more time to play. The game means a lot to us because before the game a lot of things has been going on because of the loss we had last week. We just had to make up for what happened, a lot of pressure was on the team but now it has gone down.”
