Enyimba expecting a difficult match from FC Rahimo – Fatai Osho

Enyimba head coach Fatai Osho says his side will work hard for good results against an improved FC Rahimo side as they look set to kick off their champions league campaign.

The People’s Elephant are away in Ouagadougou for the first leg of the CAF Champions League meetings against the Burkinabe Premier League champions Rahimo.

Both teams are meeting at the same stage for the second consecutive season, Enyimba defeated the Burkina Babes 5-1 aggregate to advance to the next round last season.

Speaking ahead of the match, Osho warned his side not to underrate their opponents and he believes they are have improved as a team over the year.

“The Rahimo side have a side that can actually compete. Regardless of the result we had against them the last time, we mustn’t be carried away,” Fatai Osho warned.

“We have to look at what they are doing at the moment. We have to be honest with ourselves, it’s not the same team again. On their part, they would have added one or two players, the same way on our own part.”

“Clinging to the result the last time won’t be of any benefit to us. We need to work so hard to get the needed result,” the former Remo Stars gaffer told Footballgalore.com.ng

The match is scheduled for Sunday at the Stade du 4 Aout, Ouagadougou and it will be officiated by Ghanaian referee Abdul Latif Qadiri.
