Enyimba eyes Nigerian club football dominance

Enyimba International of Aba defender, Olayinka Onaolopa has declared that the aim of the Aba Elephants is to win every available trophy and one major step is to get to play in the Super 6 and excel.

Onaolapo told brila.net that his side are unperturbed by the challenges posed by rival teams as all they want to do is prove they have what it takes to be the top team in Nigeria.
“That would be the fact that in every game, every tournament, every cup, we want to be the best we can. Not just to participate but to get our hands on every trophy.
We are always out here to be the best we can be so we aren’t looking forward to whatever Lobi, Rangers or MFM is doing. We are just concentrating on what matters to us and from there we are how things unfold.
Onaolapo, who formerly played for Nasarawa United also shed some light on his injury spell and thanked the management of Enyimba International for the care and support given when he was out injured.
“I don’t know how to answer this question because if I stray talking about it, I won’t stop. However, it’s not easy when you are injured in this part of the country.
I actually thought it light because I have never been that injured since I strategy playing but all glory is to God Almighty because when everything failed, the only thing that worked was turning back to God and then everything started to work out again.
I decided not to throw in the towel, I decided never to give up, I tried harder even when it seemed like nothing was working, I just had to be strong and believed that things would eventually work out. Kudos to the Enyimba medical staff and thanks to God Almighty for his grace and mercy.
Lobi Stars’ campaign in 2019 season has been described as one with a divine touch both on the continent and at the ongoing NPFL.
Disclosing this in a chat with brila.net, a member of the team, Solomon Kwambe highlighted the journey of the Makurdi based side so far noting that they would be gunning for a brighter end to the season as the final matchday looms.
It has been God all this while. God has been faithful to us. I think we had a fantastic season both in the continent and on the domestic league. We are praying to God to give us the grace to end on a better note.”
