Coach of Nigeria’s sole CAF champions league survivor Enyimba Usman Abdallah has stated that the People’s Elephant are very aware of the weight of expectation on the team to help salvage pride for Nigeria ahead of next week’s CAF champions league first round tie against Al-hilal of Sudan.
Abd’allah speaking in a chat with brila.net said the People’s Elephants preparation has been to meet up with the level of expectation on the team to ensure they do well and help preserve Nigeria’s continental point and hopes.
“We cannot say there is no pressure because it’s responsibility to have to do it for Nigeria, we have to do that and we have to meet the expectation and most of the time they are expecting us, we have to work hard to reach the target even though we are taking things one step at a time.”
