Enyimba and national team goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has stated that he earnestly hope to get a chance in the national team beyond just being invited to the senior national team ahead of next weeks commencement of the Super Eagles camp for next month’s Africa cup of nations.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with www.brila.net promised to make the most of any chance that comes his way but earnestly desires been handed an opportunity to showcase himself in the national team.
“All I want, all I need is just to get the chance for me to prove myself with the national team. I know when the chance come, by God grace I will do it well. So it’s one that I am so looking forward to see well in the national team.”
Theophilus Afelokhai who is on the standby list will be competing for a spot to make the final 23 against three other national team goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, and Daniel Akpeyi.
