Captain of Nigeria’s only surviving continental representative Enyimba FC Austin Oladapo has stated that the People’s Elephants are hopeful of a favourable draw ahead of Friday’s draws for the Quarterfinal and the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing as group winners in group A.
Oladapo speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the teams left are big teams and as such hopeful of the luck of the draws but that the People’s Elephants will, however, be relaxed and set for whoever they get drawn with.
Enyimba who finished as group winners will face one of Coton sports of Cameroon, CS Sfaxien of Tunisia and Pyramids of Egypt who finished second in Group B, C and D respectively.
“Those teams are big teams but we are looking forward to it because we’ve worked very hard to qualify so we are relaxed. So we wait and see whoever we are meeting so we start preparing. The most important thing is meeting a team that will favour you, so we just pray that God should give us a team that will favour us.”
