Enyimba midfielder Chukwuka Onuwa has stated that the tussle for the top 3 spots in the NPFL this season for his side has been according to plan after the People’s Elephant picked up another valuable away goalless draw in her last game against rival Lobi stars who got denied a chance to enter the top three after the draw.
Onuwa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the season has been good so far for Enyimba and their target of a top three for the regular season looks good and has worked well according to plan.
“Our aim and objective for the regular season are to make the top 3 and go for the playoffs and it’s been working for us.
“Coming to this game too against Lobi stars we have our target to get the three points bit a draw is equally good and with this result we already slowed them down too.”
Enyimba currently sits second on the group A NPFL table and have been unbeaten in the last 10 games looking good already for a top 3 finish.
