Enyimba goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode has stated that the People’s Elephant are ready to fight visiting Sudanese side Al-Merreikh to a standstill ahead of today’s return leg meeting for both side in the CAF champions league first round tie with the Sudanese side holding a 3-0 advantage from the first leg.
Kayode speaking in a chat with brila.net said the People Elephants are not giving up hope yet and are ready to fight for survival in the team’s quest to salvage what is left of their chances in Africa’s premier club competition.
“The truth is that we cannot just give up like that, so we are going to wait and fight. We will fight and pray we come out victorious. We are not giving up, we are going to fight till the end of the day.”
