Enyimba FC coach Fatai Osho has expressed delight at the qualification of the People’s Elephant into the first round of the competition after a 2-1 aggregate win over Burkinabes side Rahimo FC with the score ending 1-1 in Aba.
Osho speaking in a chat with www.brila.net after the match said it was indeed a very good challenge from the Burkina Faso side who threw everything at them especially after having beaten them in the first leg a week ago.
He thereafter hailed his players for been resolute towards the end of the game especially when Rahimo pulled a goal back to level on the day and wanted a winner which would have knocked Enyimba out.
Next up for Enyimba in the first round of the CAF champions league is Sudanese side Al-Merreikh.
