Former Nigeria international Etim John Esin nicknamed Maradona has revealed been awash with mixed emotions following the demise of one of Football’s iconic figures Argentine Diego Armando Maradona who passed on Wednesday 25th November 2020 after a cardiac arrest.
Esin speaking in a chat with brila.net expressed sadness over the death of the Argentine great and also revealed missing out on the chance to play against Maradona as a Footballer was his greatest regret as a player.
He also added that he feels privileged and honored to have been so nicknamed after the three-times world cup winner.
