Everton 0-2 Fulham: Josh Maja scores brace on his full debut

Josh Maja announced his return to England with a bang as he led Fulham to a stunning victory over  Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday night.

Maja scored both goals as Fulham defeated the Toffees 2-0 to boost their chances of beating the relegation.

 

Fulham dominated the game from start to finish with Ademola Lookman and Ola Aina missing glorious first half chances to put Scot Parker’s side in the lead.

 

Maja gave the visitors the deserved lead three minutes after the restart, the on loan forward tapped home a pass from Aina.

 

The Nigerian scored his second of the game in the 65th minute, this time, he was at the right place at the right time to tap in a rebound after Harrison Reed’s effort came off the woodwork.

 

He was replaced by Ivan Cavaleiro 18 minutes from time, Aina and Tosin Adarabioyo played the entire duration of the match for Fulham, but Alex Iwobi was among the unused substitute for Everton.
