Marco Silva is set to disappoint some Everton supporters this summer, as the Toffees boss has sanctioned the potential sale of Ademola Lookman, according to Football Insider.
They claim the boss is still a fan of the 21-year-old winger, but now considers the London-born ace a player he can make do without as he searches for ways Marcel Brands can boost our transfer budget knowing that a majority of the funds will have to come through player sales.
A source from within the club has even suggested there is a £21million asking price on Lookman’s head, as the board are ‘confident’ they can make a £10m profit on the 5 ft 7 wide man we signed from Charlton Athletic for £11million two years ago.
That will surely be seen as good news down on the south coast and in Germany, as Lookman was linked with Southampton, AFC Bournemouth and RB Leipzig just last week, with the Saints said to be preparing a £20million offer.
