Everton has joined Spanish side Villarreal in a battle to sign Emmanuel Dennis as a replacement for Richarlison who left to join Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Toffees are planning to table a £25m bid for the striker, however, they facing competition from the Spanish side Villarreal.
According to Liverpool Echo, Everton and Villarreal want the player who is not willing to play in the Championship next season.
The report states that the Blues could be the favorite to land Dennis as the player still has unfinished business in the Premier League.
A move is far from completion, but are confident they can persuade the Hornets to sell Dennis for £25million.
Dennis, who only moved to Watford for £3m from Club Brugge last summer scored 11 Premier League goals and assisted 5.
