Everton ready for Manchester United – Iwobi

Alex Iwobi says Everton must forget about their weekend win over Arsenal and focus Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Manchester United.

Everton is going into the match in full confidence after three consecutive win Chelsea, Leicester City and Arsenal.

Speaking to Everton’s official website ahead of the Wednesday match with Manchester United, Iwobi said the three consecutive win in the premier league is now in the past.

He added that the team has now shifted focus to the crunch league cup match against Manchester United.

“We now turn our attention to Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester United. It’s a big game and another match under the lights at Goodison with 2,000 of our fans cheering us on.

“We’re in competitions to try to win them. We want to win as many as we can, not just for us but for the fans, especially.

“We have to stay humble. We’ll keep on fighting, keep working hard and hopefully we can keep this feelgood factor to give our fans plenty to smile about going into Christmas,” he said.
