Alex Iwobi did just enough in 90 minutes to help Everton snatch an impressive 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Saturday at Goodison Park.
Caretaker and former Everton Forward Duncan Ferguson took charge of the team for the first time since his appointment and the sacking of Marco Silva on Thursday.
The Toffees Legend named Iwobi in the starting XI and the Nigerian made the moments count.
He controlled possession and also completed the most dribbles by any Everton player, getting involved as the host battled their way past Frank Lampard’s Blues.
Everton made 37 tackles today against Chelsea, the most any team has made in a Premier League game since the start of the 2016-17 season.

Richarlison’s early goal (5′) and a Dominic Calvert-Lewin brace (49′, 84′) ensured a winning start for the Big Dunc.
Chelsea halved the deficit in the 52nd minute through Mateo Kovacic but the visitors were out-muscled despite stuffing up the stats sheet.
Iwobi who was rated 6.4 per whoscored.com tweeted his delight after the game:
