Eze will succeed in the premier league, Says QPR director Ferdinand

QPR director of football Les Ferdinand has been talking about the decision to sell Eberechi Eze to Crystal Palace.

The former England international said it was a difficult decision to sell the player, but he admitted the player demanded a move away from the Club.

Eze sealed his dream to Crystal on Friday after signing a five-year contract with the London based Club.

He said: “You never want to lose one of your best players but the situation dictates that it’s necessary so that we can, ultimately, grow and progress.

“I have no doubts Ebere will go on to enjoy a fantastic career in the game at the very top level. Allied to his natural talent, Ebere is an incredibly motivated, determined, and humble individual and that is why there has been so much interest in him from Premier League sides.

Eze developed to one of the best talents in English football under the watch of QPR who gambled on him after he was released Milwall FC four years ago.

“I am sure he would be the first to admit that he wasn’t the player he is today when he first walked through our door four years ago.

“His hard work, combined with the excellent coaching he experienced through all the stages of his QPR career, have helped him get to the next level and we are incredibly proud of him,” Ferdinand concluded.

Queens Park Rangers will receive  20 million pounds from Crystal Palace for the sale of the 22-year-old English born Nigerian midfielder.
