Eze’s first start for Crystal Palace ends in defeat

Super Eagles target Eberechi Eze made his first start for Crystal Palace in their Carabao Cup game against Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The £20million summer signing from Queens Park Rangers was impressive against the Cherries, but he was on the losing side.

The game ended goalless after 90 minutes and was decided with a penalty that ended 11 – 10 in the favor of Bournemouth.

Eze who also converted his spot-kick in the game has now made two appearances for the Eagles since crossing over from Loftus Road.

He made his premier league debut for the Roy Hudgson men in their 1 – 0 win over Southampton.

The youngster came on as a second-half substitute for Ghanaian winger Jeffrey Schlupp.
