Eze’s wonder goal helps Crystal Palace end six-game winless run

Eberechi Eze was on target for Crystal Palace in their premier league win over Sheffield United at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The creative midfielder carried the ball from his own half and skipped past three Sheffield United’s defenders before slotting the ball into the bottom corner for Crystal Palace’s second against struggling Blades.


The Eagles went into the match at the their six-match winless run, but they were determined to put the bad run behind them against Sheffield United.

Crystal Palace’ took the lead after just four minutes as Ghanaian star Jeff Schlupp saw his effort deflected off a defender and went into the back of the net for the opener.

Eze’s then doubled Crystal Palace advantage with beautiful solo goal on the stroke of half time which put game to bed.

The goal was Eze’s second in the premier league for the club since joining from Queens Park Rangers last summer.
