Nigeria’s U20 women side intensified their preparation for Senegal clash later this month with a 3-1 friendly win over IB Sports Dreams U14 Boys on Friday.
Paul Ugwu opened scoring for the boys but Esther Onyenezide and Taiwo Lawal brace sealed the Falconets’ comeback.
The first leg fifth round tie of the African U20 Women’s Championship qualifiers tie against Senegal is slated for March 11 in Dakar, while the second leg will hold in Abuja four days later.
The Falconets trashed Cameroon to seal qualification for the fifth round and a win over the Senegalese would guaranteed them a place in the tournament proper.
