Super Falcons Captain Asisat Oshoala has disclosed that the team needs proper structure in order to into the right direction.
The multiple African Champions has failed to qualify for Olympic games on three consecutive occasions, despite the dominating the African Women’s Cup of Nations.
Speaking to brila.net on the way forward for the team, after the latest setback, the Barcelona Feminine attacker said the Nigeria senior women’s team needs proper structure in order to move to the next level.
“Basically, we have to go back to drawing, try to get the technical crew together and try to get a schedule for the team and all of that”
“We need to have a proper structure and I think the Federation knows what to do,” She said.
Oshoala who celebrated her 25th birthday on Wednesday scores Nigeria’s lone goal against Ivory Coast on Monday, but it wasn’t enough to send the team through to the Olympics.
