Falcons sweats it out in training ahead Bayana Bayana clash

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are leaving no stone unturned ahead of 2022 African Women’s Championship opener against South Africa.

The team trained this Friday morning under the watchful eyeof coach Randy Waldrum and technical crew.

According to the video posted on the team’s social media handles, the players worked on attacking and defending. The coach also experiment with new formation with different players.

They go up against the Banyana Banyana in their first match at the Prince Heritier Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat on Monday, 4th July, before matches against Botswana (Thursday, 7th July) and Burundi (Sunday, 10th July) at the same venue.

The Super Falcons, arguably Africa’s most successful women’s football team, haven won the title in 1991, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018 would play the Lady Elephants on Friday, Feb. 18th, at the newly refurbished MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
