Former female FIFA badges referee and former NFA board member, Kamila Buhari has expressed her candid opinion on the chances of the Super Falcons of Nigeria ahead of their world cup campaign which begins on the 8th of next month in France.
The Super Falcons are getting set for the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in France, starting on 7th June. The Falcons will play Norway in Reims on Saturday, 8th June in their first match of the championship.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Jamila added that she believes the girls will do everything to make the country proud but warned against taking any country for granted following their preparation.
“We might find it easy with the host team, France and of course Norway, Am not putting off or putting down anyone because every country wants to do well and make themselves proud”.
“I will only say we will stand the test of time because I’ve seen their matches the girls are determined, and so I won’t out my neck to say we will beat every team and I won’t advise them to take any country for granted”.
The Falcons only yesterday defeated Hungarian side Haladas Viktoria 5-1 yesterday as they get set for the tournament in France.
