FC Ifeanyi Ubah were humiliated in their last NPFL, outing at the weekend, losing 5-1 on the road against Plateau United, and it is a torrid experience they want put behind them quickly said Midfielder Gbadamosi Jimoh.

It was the biggest defeat suffered by the club in the NPFL and Jimoh revealed the weather in Jos played a huge part in their lackluster performance.

“We were cold, it was really cold that afternoon. After our warm ups we were out there and in a few minutes we were shivering with cold,” Jimoh told www.brila.net.

“But, We have put that defeat behind us and now we just want to go out and get a win against Kwara United.

Currently 9th in the table, FC Ifeanyi Ubah have one only one of in their last five games, same as Wednesday’s visitors.

They have also lost three of the four meetings with Kwara United including one at home, but Jimoh doesn’t expect Today’s game to be as predictable – with the Afonja Warriors third from bottom..

“Football is like cracker biscuit, if you try to break it, it could crack any where.

“So, I can’t actually predict that we’ll get an outright win because Football isn’t mathematics, but what I can assure is that every player will go ut and give their best.”
