Ivory Coast Head coach Paolo Povia has admitted the 76-42 win against Nigeria’s D’Tigers in their opening game of the second round of the 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifier in Abidjan inspired confidence they can take on any team.
The Elephants eventually went on to pick Africa’s fifth spot for the tournament in China; at the expense of Cameroon, and in a chat with brila.net Povia praised the commitment of his team and the dedication each player displayed.
