Fidelis Ilechukwu has stated that he is worried about his future as the head coach of NPFL side, Heartland FC.

Ilechukwu at Heartland is presently facing challenges of non-payment of salaries and the two years ban on the club from signing new players.
In a chat, the former MFM boss told www.brila.net exclusively that, he’s seriously in a confused state about his future in Heartland but he is not the type of manager who wanders from clubs to another.
“I need to make new decisions about my future with Heartland FC because now I don’t know what to do about myself, I don’t like moving from one club to another because I’m not wired that way,” he told brila.
”Last year I and my backroom staffers did a lot of work ensuring we inculcate our philosophy, and football methodology to the players and they have already gotten acquainted with it, my plan is to build on that but at the same time, if I look at the situation of things here, if Heartland is not going to sign players this season while we are going to lose players is going to be a very difficult decision for me. “he said.
