London is set to host the The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in October this year
The inaugural version of this event, which rivals the Ballon d’Or Gala, was held in Zurich, Switzerland in January, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Carli Lloyd and Claudio Ranieri taking the top gongs.
FIFA initially planned to host it at Wembley Arena, but it was shelved because the venue had already been booked for an ice show.
