Super Eagles and Bordeaux of France winger, Samuel Kalu has revealed that he is over the moon as well as in cloud nine, after being part of the Eagles team who won bronze last night against Tunisia in the third-place match at the Al Salam Stadium in Egypt in the ongoing AFCON 2019.
Kalu, who suffered dehydration just before Nigeria’s first match in the group stage against Burundi, came back stronger, and even featured last night, and had two chances to find the net from dead-ball situations, but couldn’t find the net on both occasions.
He, however, expressed his satisfaction as well as excitement in a chat with www.brila.net as ti being a bronze medalist with the national team, while also appreciating soccer-loving Nigerians for their support.
“I feel great for the first time going to this tournament with the Super Eagles and finishing third, winning the bronze medal. I feel so happy and excited, its a great feeling for me”.
“I just want Nigerians to please continue to support the Super Eagles, we will continue to work hard and make them proud”.
