Flying Eagles Inspire Eguavoen Ahead of CHAN Qualifiers Against Ghana

Nigeria’s triumph in the WAFU B U20 Championship continues to earn plaudit, the latest coming from CHAN Eagles head coach, Austin Eguavoen.

In Wednesday’s Championship game, Nigeria defeated Ghana 2-1 to reclaim the title, and Eguavoen described the victory as no mean feat.

“Congratulations to the Flying Eagles on their victory, it was a tough one, but they won.”

Eguavoen will face Ghana next month in a double-header CHAN qualifiers, and admits the regional rivals are always tough customers.

“Playing Ghana in any category is always a tough fixture, so we’ll pray for luck.

“We will strategize for these games to ensure we qualify for the CHAN,” the Coach concluded.
