The FIFA U20 World title has eluded Nigeria, although the Flying Eagles have come close twice to winning the now coveted trophy, later this month in Poland, the Eagles will get another chance and it will depend on how determined the team, says Ex-Eagles star Segun Fetuga.

Reaching the competition in Poland wasn’t plain sailing for Paul Aigbogun’s lads.
A fourth-place finish at the qualifiers dampened the expectations fans that this team will finally break the jinx, but Fetuga, who captained the Eaglets to the 1989 World Cup and transitioned to the 1991 Flying Eagles, told www.brila.net that the players must create their own legacy.
‘Well, they had a difficult start in the qualifiers but managed to get over the line. They’ve also played a few pre tournaments, so we expect that they’ll be in good shape.
‘But at the end of the day, they’ll have to show determination and the desire to want to win for the Country. And we hope they do bring back the trophy this time.’
