Flying Eagles will bounce back against Egypt — Bosso

Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso is confident the Flying Eagles will bounce back from defeat against Senegal.

Bosso’s team was beaten 1-0 by Senegal in their opening match of the U20 AFCON in Egypt on Sunday.

The Flying Eagles are languishing in the bottom of Group A, and must beat hosts Egypt in their next game to revive FIFA World Cup hope.

“We take advantage of tournaments like this in order to develop our level and work to fix our mistakes,” Bosso said after the game.

“In the end, I trust the team and their ability to qualify to the next round, and that we will achieve our biggest goal, which is to reach the World Cup.”

“The next match is very difficult, especially since it will be against Egypt, the host country.

“Egypt’s draw against Mozambique will make it more difficult because their desire to win will multiply,” He said.
