Former Super Falcons handler, James Peters, has called on the Super Falcons of Nigeria led by coach Thomas Dennerby to try and take things one step at a time in their group if they are to successfully navigate their way at the FIFA women’s world cup, France 2019.

The Super Falcons only yesterday departed to France from Austria where they were educated on what signs, symbols and issues constitute threats to the integrity of the game.

Ahead of their world cup adventure which begins this weekend, Peters, in a chat with www.brila.net urged the team not to be too over confident but at the same time have the mind set that they could beat any team.

Every game should be taken one game at a time, they are not going to play the last game before the first game.

The first game comes first, then the next one and then the next one…and we will not assume that we can beat any team, they are going there with confidence, not over confidence.

They need to prepare both technically and tactically for the opponents and I have a strong belief that they will get to at least the semi-final.

The Falcons will battle host nation France, Norway, and Korea in their group at the tournament.
