He may be owed a backlog of salaries, and yet tolerate it. The Media may suggest a break down of order in his team and he’ll scoff at the reports…But don’t suggest a Nigerian meal to Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, that will be the final straw.

The 63-year-old German Coach, who was appointed last September, declared his dread for Nigerian meals after an apparently unpalatable culinary adventure.

Rohr has engineered a resurgence of the three-time African champions; introducing a new generation of players and building a fearsome team.

Speaking with www.brila.net recently, Rohr disclosed he’ll never eat another Nigerian meal after a bad experience he had.
” Nigerian food is too spicy and too hot. I tried fish pepper soup but it burnt my mouth,” Rohr said.
