It’s not longer a news that, Nigeria and Ghana will fight for one of Africa’s five tickets for the 2022 FIFA World World Cup in Qatar.
The fixture is one of the most anticipated clashes that take center stage on the continent of Africa in the next few days and fans are already talking about who deserves to go through.
A Black Star fan named Koffi Obrafor who is looking forward to the game, said in a tweet that, they deserved to be at the World Cup than Nigeria.
“Nigeria has always bragged and exited at the group stage of the world cup. Ghana on the other hand is always calm and has performed creditably well than Nigeria anytime they appear at the World Cup.”
Verdict: Ghana is a better World Cup material than Nigeria,” The Black Stars fan wrote on Twitter.
The Black Stars have made 3 appearances at the Mundial — playing 12 games, won 4 and appeared at the quarter finals.
While the Super Eagles appeared 6 times, played 21 games, won 6 and their best performance is round of 16 place.
Meanwhile, the Ghanaians will host the first leg of the two legged encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on the 25th of March, while Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja will host the second leg four days later.
The overall winner of the two-legged ties will advance to the finals.
