Forgotten Super Eagles striker Kayode Olarewaju outshines Ahmed Musa in Turkish Cup clash

Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa was on parade for his Club in their Turkish Cup clash with Olanrewaju Kayode’s Sivasspor on Wednesday night.

Musa’s Karagumruk ran out 1-0 winner when both met on 20th February, but it was the former Manchester City man who had the last laugh this time as Sivasspor pipped Fatih Karagumruk by a lone goal.

Both Musa and Olanrewaju started the match for their respective Clubs, but did not make major impact.

Ahmed Musa was hauled off by the coach for 65 minute, as he couldn’t replicate his weekend goalscoring performance in the game.

On his part, Kayode had a great game and got heroic reception from the fans when he leaving the pitch in the 81st minute.

Meanwhile, Mustapha Yatabare bagged the winner for Sivasspor in the 69th minute.

Sivasspor has now qualified for the semi-final of the tournament.
