Former D’ Tigers Captain Olumide Oyedeji has stated that four or five home-based players should be part of the D’ Tigers team for the forthcoming Afrobasket championship.
Oyedeji in a chat with brila.net said if he is asked to make a decision for the team ahead of the Afrobasket championship he will be rooting for the coach to integrate about four or five home-based players into the team to give them hope and confidence.
“We had already qualified for the Afro basket, with me personally if I had to make a decision I mean, I am not going to the competition with all foreign-based players, I will find one way or the other to integrate four or five of the home-based players into that group to give them hope and confidence in the team.”
