Former Katsina boss wants palliatives given to Nigeria league players

Former Katsina United coach Henry Makinwa has called on the federal ministry of sports and the NFF to give palliatives to the players in NPFL ahead of the new season.

Makinwa made this plea while speaking to brila.net shortly after leaving his role as the head coach of NPFL side Katsina United.
“I think the LMC should have a functional meeting with the Nff to bail them out, they will need money they will need cash and palliative for everybody in the sports industry,” He said.
“A lot of people have been sacked, a lot of people have been dropped, salaries in some clubs have not being paid, so the federal government should give a bailout to the clubs, palliatives to the players, staff, technical crew and also the media personnel, everybody in the sports ministry should be given these,” he concluded.
