Former MFM FC coach Tony Bolus has stated that it would be wrong for the NPFL 2022/2023 season to be played in an abridged format after news emerged that the 2022/ 2023 Nigeria Professional football season would resume on the 1st of December in an abridged format an idea the former Nigeria striker has come against.
Bolus speaking in a chat with brila.net said since Nigeria won’t be at the World cup in November/December therefore there is no need for the league should be in an Abridged format adding that Nigeria has the luxury of time to put together a full league and a good one at that.
