Former Super Eagles and WBA defender, Ifeanyi Udeze has criticized Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa over his decision to go on trial with a Norwegian Clubside.
Speaking on Brila FM‘s Sports Machine, Udeze describe the trial move as an act of desperacy from both the player and his representatives/Agents.
“I don’t understand why a top scorer in the NPFL will have to go on trial in Norway”
“I see it as an act of desperacy”
“Our boys are too eager to leave this country and we can’t blame them”
“During my time, back in 1997, there were no social media and the League was not properly Televised, most of us went on trials”
“Right now, your clips are everywhere, why go on trial? the former player asked.
Udeze suggested that he wouldn’t be bordered if the trial had been with either Barcelona or Real Madrid, He feels Lokosa will not get the respect he deserves having entered the team through trials.
Lokosa was named by Coach Gernot Rohr as a member of the Super Eagles 30-man preliminary squad but was left out of the final 23.
