Francisca Ordega’s Levante debut delayed

Super Falcons Star Francisca Ordega was left on the bench as Levante beat Tenerife to book their place in the semi-final of Spanish Copa De Reina on Wednesday.

The former Atletico Madrid and Shanghai Shenhua attacker was named in the matchday squad but didn’t get a taste of the action.

Levante eventually won the match 2-1, thanks to Maria Mendez who scored the winner two minutes into the additional time.

Maria Mendez gave the Maria Pry’s side the lead in the first half before Gol de Patri Gavira restored parity for Tenerife after an hour mark.

Speaking after the final whistle, UD Levante coach Maria Pry said her girls will give everything to reach the final.

“I’m very happy, we have worked very and our effort was rewarded. It’s time to enjoy the work, the good game, and the result of the season. ”

” We are going to the semi-final and we will give everything to make final,” she said.
