Fulham boss Scott Parker has reacted to Ola Aina’s strike in their 2-0 premier league win over West Bromwich Albion, on Monday night.
Parker hailed the Nigerian full back’s performance and described his goal as special for the club.
Before Monday’s win over West Bromwich Albion, Fulham have failed to win any of their previous six premier games, but Aina’s rocket and Bobby Reid ‘s goal brought an end to the bad runs .
In his post match conference, Parker was full of praises for the former Chelsea defender after scoring the all important goal.
“It was a great strike. We might have to take risks,” Parker said after the game.
“We’re going to have to take risks in or around the box and Ola did that and it’s flown into the top corner. Anyone watching us with an open mind will see we have a bit of quality. We had some lovely bits in both halves.” he said.
Meanwhile Aina became the first Super Eagles player to register a Premier League goal in the color of Fulham.
Ademola Lookman who also featured against West Brom was on target for the club against Sheffield United two weeks ago, but he’s yet to earn his first cap for Nigeria, despite switching allegiance from England.
