Full house as Maduka Okoye arrives Super Eagles Lagos camp

Sparta Rotterdam of Holland goalkeeper Maduka Okoye arrived the Super Eagles Eko Hotel and Suites camp in Lagos, ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Okoye joined the team this morning and it means all 23 players are now in camp for the match against Central African Republic.

Okoye was in good form for Sparta Rotterdam against PSV on Sunday , making eight saves, but couldn’t prevent the team from going down 2-1.

The 21-year-old is expected to take part in the team’s training session on Wednesday evening.

“Good morning fans, we’ve got a FULL HOUSE! Maduka Okoye is here,” reads a message on the Facebook page of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Okoye is the number goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, while Daniel Akpeyi and Francis Uzoho remain second and third choice respectively.

However, all eyes will be on the German born shot-stopper when the Super Eagles lock horns with Central African Republic at the Teslim Balogun Stadium will kick-off at 5.pm.

He has conceded once in his last two appearances for Nigeria, but let in 16 in his last 8 matches for his club in the Eredivisie this season.
