True development in Nigeria football will only come when Administrators revive school sports, according to former Player Salisu Nakande.
Nakande, who was part of Nigeria’s U-17 squad at the 1985 world cup, said the School sports days produced a great era of Nigerian players, but the slide into decadence can still be corrected.

He advocated for Head Teachers to be drafted in the program as helping hands to identify the kids within the proper age bracket.
In the same vein, he believes that most Parents can’t be trusted to disclose the actual ages of their wards.
