Brazilian forward, Gabi Nunes is excited following her winning goal in Brazil’s 1-0 win over Nigeria.

Nunes scored the match-winning goal in the 37th minute, assisted by Marta, who had earlier had a goal disallowed for offside.

“ I am very, very happy with this game. It was a difficult game, but this team is amazing, we trained a lot to play a good game,” Nunes said. “I’m happy with the goal, to be able to help our team, and now we have to rest and enjoy this moment.”

The South Americans will next face world champion Spain on Sunday, both top Group C with 3 points.
