Ademola Lookman is unarguably the biggest story in the Italian Serie A this season.
The striker has been nothing but sensational since his arrival at Bergamo, scoring 11 goals in 18 Serie A matches.
He also scored a brace on his Copa Italia debut against Spezia last Thursday.
Speaking after Lookman’s latest brace against Juventus on Sunday, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised Director Lee Congerton for signing Ademola Lookman after his unimpressive loan spell at Leicester City last summer.
“This new director, the responsible for scouting, Lee Congerton spotted these players, he knew him [Lookman] because they were together at Leicester City,” said Gasperini.
“He was quick for Højlund, the club made an important investment in this lad. The club bought these two players who have been helping me work well.”
The 25-year-old joined La Dea for €9m in August and has proved tobe worth every penny.
He netted a brace in Atalanta’s 3-3 draw against Juventus at Allianz Arena in Turin.
