Following reports of CAF’s new initiative to disbursed $100,000 to all African football federations and confirmation from Mohammed Sanusi who is in Manama, Bahrain for the FIFA Congress who was also present at the CAF congress which held before the start of the FIFA congress.
Former member of the Super Eagles, Gbenga Okunowo following the aftermath of the NFF receiving the $100,000 subvention from CAF, has stated that such monies would only be useful if the Glass House is unanimous and definite about what and where it wishes to invest the money, stressing that such an even amount of money would prove useless if there is rancour and indecisiveness at the helm of affairs as regards its expenditure.
Stressing grassroots developments and local league developments should be top for the agenda so they can achieve usefulness for the money.
